Now the Skim is available and it flies better than ever before. The new Skim features a lot faster turning, a very smooth flying behavior and a constant flying speed. These flying characteristics have radically improved in the new Skim.
Besides the Skim is the only closed cell powerkite in the range. This has several advantages:
It enables to body drag in the water with the kite; its closed structure prevents water from entering the kite when it crashes.
The Skim gives more stability in gusty winds.
The restart of the Skim is very easy; due to the closed structure, the air is kept inside.
Clearly the Skim is a 3-line trainer kite like the Impulse. The third line makes it very easy to restart the kite without the help of others.
